BUY THE WINE

Ella Lister: A bit milky/cloudy. There is a high-toned freshness on the nose, with flower (rose) petals in abundance, cherries, and a bit of green, stemmy character for added interest. Soft and velveteen on the palate, the 2006 is sumptuous but feather-light and deepens toward the finish. The fruit, however, is less ripe and generous than in the 2007, and a touch bitter.
