Margaret Rand: The Kapi vineyard has more limestone in the soil than elsewhere on the estate and gets lots of very clean botrytis. It’s not the most aromatic of wines but is always very elegant and transparent. This is intense and sparky, with a lovely line of acidity, notes of preserved lemons and herbs, and a very sparky finish, very long and energetic.
