BUY THE WINE

Stephen Browett: A black color. Sweet, jammy nose. Very modern, very opulent and plump. Hot and ripe. Very impressive depth and concentration. A monster wine, but not too exaggerated, and despite the massive fruit extraction there is some balance too. A wine that I would have expected several tasters to detest and some to love but it received surprisingly consistent scores and tied for third place after Valandraud and Tertre Rôteboeuf. Finally, not the controversial freak that had been expected. Undeniably impressive. 15.5
