Stephen Brook: Very deep red. Rich nose, plums, a light Porty tone, coffee. Quite rich and succulent, creamy texture, ample concentration and sufficient acidity to sustain the sweet fruit. It’s silky and seductive, and even if there is not much depth of fruit, this is a pleasure to drink. Not that persistent, it’s true, but balanced and enjoyable. 16.5
Michael Schuster: Dark red; soft ripe fruit and new wood to smell; medium-full, ripe fruit, lacking in fresh acidity, but also rather dried by its tannins; very nice ripe fruit, but tastes a bit stretched, modest scope, and shortish to finish. Not bad, undistinguished. 14
