Stephen Brook: Deep red. Light cherry nose. Medium-bodied, a bit dilute, lacks some grip. Sleek and delicate, with no excessive extraction, this nonetheless has firm tannins. Just lacks some fruit, complexity, and excitement. Some freshness on the finish gives fair length. 15.5
Stephen Browett: Already a fully mature color. Nose and palate are mature too. A bit thin, light, and weedy. Nothing to it really, a big disappointment. What happened? 12
Michael Schuster: Medium depth, dark red; light, caramel-tinged Merlot nose; medium-full, moderately concentrated, and with a firm, dry tannin; a bit austere for its origin, lean and with little fleshy Merlot charm; fairly fluid and on the slender side; lacks a bit of richness, and finishes medium length. Seems a bit fragile, like many of the Graves. Therefore to drink soon, the dry tannins notwithstanding. 15.5
