Stephen Brook: Very deep red. Sweet, delicate cherry nose, remarkably bright and charming for the year, nothing baked or stewed here. Medium-bodied, sleek and supple, certainly has tannins aplenty but they’re not aggressive or extracted, well balanced and stylish, with sweet black fruits and a touch of chocolate on the finish. Quite good length. 17.5
Stephen Browett: Maturing color, almost oxidized on the nose. Loose-knit, flabby, and really rather feeble. Hard to believe that this is Trotanoy. Universally disliked. 12
Michael Schuster: Dark, youthful, narrow-rimmed dark red; very nicely balanced, fine-textured, moderately concentrated medium-weight, intelligently made in the vintage; firm, yes, but without any excess astringency; long, fine, scented, even, and harmonious. Not big, or strong, but this will be a lovely drink, ripe in fruit, but without any excess, or resistance to the palate! Good length. Very nice indeed and accessible relatively soon for the quality. From 2013. 17
