Stephen Brook: Pallid nose, muted, hint of mandarins, little evident botrytis. Medium-bodied but rather flat and oily, little lift or drive here, and it fades fast. There’s a lack of concentration that suggests high yields (for Sauternes) and a little alcohol on the finish. Fairly short on the finish. 12

Michael Schuster: Mid-gold; honeyed, waxy nose; nicely balanced, fresh medium-weight, sweet without being intensely so, with a clean, direct flavor, but modest complexityand medium length. Pleasing and lively, if with limited scope, and on the lighter side in the vintage. Drink now, though the sugar and acidity will doubtless keep it. 14.5
