Michael Schuster: Very ripe, but fine and mineral, too; full, finely firm in tannin, a lively but well-covered acidity— lovely balance; very sweet in flavor, cassis-juicy, but so fresh at the same time, and all that juiciness nicely framed by those very fine tannins, and with fine fruit-fragrant length. Complete, and remarkably restrained and elegant, even in this ripe style. A Malartic beauty. 2025–40+. 92–93
Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Great color, precise earthy personality, noble, strong but not dry tannins, will gain yet more volume with time. The 2010 seemed to have a bit more flesh at its birth. 95–96
