BUY THE WINE

Michael Schuster: Fairly full wine with the year’s bright acidity, and a fine dry tannin; brisk, very sweet-cored cassis Cabernet flavor, a nice, light complexity, and good light length. Excellent Petit Lion. One of the best, so far? 2022–30+. 90–91

Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: A marvelous wine from young vines that probably benefited from the grand vin. Great aromas of Havana, remarkable class of the terroir, supple but very precise. Hard to forget. 95–96
