Michael Schuster: Ripe black-cherry/blackcurrant fruit to smell; medium-full, fresh, and finely tannic, an excellent balance; freshly sweet, gently juicy, a touch of new-wood dryness, but a most appetizing wild strawberry sweet-and-vital fruit character, a nice, light complexity, and good length. A lovely La Gurgue. 2022–30+. 89–90
