Michael Schuster: Very dense, almost roasted to smell, intense ripe red and black fruit; full, fairly rich, fresh, and particularly fine in tannin for Trotanoy; sweet, juicy, flowing, pure and fragrant; long across the palate, quite racy, a real length of flavor, a marked tenacity and complexity, and then fine, sweet, floral fragrant length. Lovely, if surprisingly delicate and subtle for Trotanoy. 2026–40+. 93–95
Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Brilliantly structured and ample, with fine tannins, fresh, subtle, and long. 96–97
