Michael Schuster: Orange-tinged gold; wax and honey to smell; rich and full, with a fresh acidity; very sweet, and quite luscious, with its acidity supporting its flavor, but with a limited aromatic complexity and mid-palate length, especially for the cru, followed by a light, lively length. Good rather than special this vintage. 90–92
Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Generous but fine and pure, with the year’s typically immediate aromas, it should become a complete wine. 96–97
