Alex Hunt:A fuller-bodied, more traditional Brouilly but still with impressive vibrancy of fruit. The tannin is assertive but fine-grained, and in a couple of years’ time this wine should really sing. 87
Andrew Jefford:Deep, dark red-purple. Sweet and warm, but no particular aromatic excellence on display. Some fresh ferment notes indeed almost have the upper hand on the fruit at this early stage. In the mouth, though, this is very good wine, with real purity and depth and length: muted cherry with lots of drive and classicism. Finer aromas would have delivered a higher score still, and maybe they will come with time, but this is already a deep, assured bottle. 90
Peter Liem:The juicy, cherry-like flavors are ripe and forward, and while this remains elegant in weight, it shows the broad character of the cru and develops a subtle detail as it moves back on the palate. It finishes with taut, fresh tannins, and continues to reveal additional facets as it expands in the glass. 90
