Andrew Jefford: Deep red-black. Fresh, minty blackcurrant fruits. Plenty of tannin lends texture to bright if rather piercing blackcurrant. The tannins would take it to mid-term, but I’d prefer to drink it young while they can face up to the acidity. 2018–22. 86
Michael Schuster: Light mineral and ripe red-fruit nose; medium-full, fresh in acidity, moderately tannic; an elegant balance for Pauillac, with a nice length of flavor, Pauillac sinew yes, but not tough, and a very nice length of aftertaste, too. Youthful, but promising. Needs a decade. 2027–35+. 89
