Andrew Jefford: Deep black-red. Sweetly grassy scents; a little floral perfume, too. A touch of tar and camphor behind: scents of the garden shed. A relatively slender palate, with some bitterness and a slight lack of aromatic fruit precision. 2018–22. 86
Michael Schuster: A fine, cedary, claret nose; medium-full, fresh to brisk, finely, firmly tannic; ripe fruit at its heart, within a relatively firm tannin, but a nice length of flavor and of aftertaste; nonetheless this is fairly long-term for a lighter, lesser vintage, which will need time in bottle. 2024–34+. 89
