Andrew Jefford: Deep red-black. This is a little light and grassy for me, but there are no overt green tones and fans of the more graceful Margaux wines may find it fresh and classical. Fresh and light; in fact, for me the palate does tiptoe toward herbaceousness. A claret for drinking cool before long. Now to 2019. 84
Michael Schuster: Light, sweet, early Merlot-dominated bouquet; well enough balanced in its lighter style, fresh, very light in tannin; gently red fruit in flavor, but modest in scope and length; pleasant but limited. Just lacks scope, even in the vintage, for its 2nd-growth status. Now to 2023. 88
