Andrew Jefford: Deep, dark black-red. Dark, dense, brooding fruit and well-judged oak: ample, ripe, and enticing. An enjoyable though finally simple aromatic profile. Curranty, deep, ripe; contemporary in style. The oak is still a little dominant and I’m not sure the fruit will fight its way through, but no one will feel short-changed by this ambitious 2013. Now to 2019. 85

Michael Schuster: A hint of ripe, black fruit here; medium-full, crisp, very lightly tannic; both matter and ripeness, a sweet fruit presence, a gentle juiciness, and nice light length. This is already very attractive in its lighter style, with no weakness, and plenty to enjoy. Now to 2024. 88
