Andrew Jefford: Deep black-red. Strange, salty-earth scent is what you notice first, and then more typical green freshness. On the palate, this is well-constructed, with a sense of Cabernet firmness to it and less dominated by acidity than some of its peers. Savory finish. The overall impression, though, is one of cool containment. Now-2020 85

Michael Schuster: Lightly cedary nose; medium-full, very crisp in acidity, overall lean and quite tannic for the available fruit; dry, chewy flavor which certainly needs food to soften lacks charm, and on the tough side even for the year. Now to 2023. 83
