Michael Schuster: Mid-purple; marked minerality on the nose; rich, firm, middleweight wine, quite concentrated, and with a very fine-grained, firm tannin; long, pure-flavored, particularly refined expression of Nuits-St-Georges, ripe in fruit, very pure, no excess of extract or oak, long and fine across the palate, clearly premier cru complexity, and long to finish, too. A lovely Nuits-St-Georges, as well as a fine expression of the terroir character and of the premier cru hierarchy. Purity, finesse, typicity! Drink 2010–20.
