Andrew Jefford: Deep red; a touch more evolved than some of its peers. Somewhat grassy in scent, without any evidently sweet ripeness. Smooth and rather slender, without the purity and density of fruit and relative richness of texture which the best St- Emilions have managed to achieve in this vintage. Now to 2019. 84
Stephen Brook: Lightly herbaceous cherry nose, but not too unripe. Medium-bodied, light to be sure, but has a pleasant texture and reasonable concentration of fruit. The acidity is a bit too marked for the fruit, but this is balanced and will make pleasant if unremarkable short-term drinking. 85
