Stephen Brook: Vibrant crimson. Nose a little shy, but there is fullness at the core, indicative of ripe, appealing fruit. Elegance on palate—greater elegance than Boisset’s Chambolle-Musigny Premier Cru Les Charmes. Acidity and alcohol quite well judged. A good terroir wine, with interest, some indication of complexity, and with the quality of fruit to carry it forward. Tempting to see this as grand cru quality at a premier cru level and price.
