BUY THE WINE

Essi Avellan: Very pale greenish color, with a foamy rim. Pungent smoky nose, with slightly unpleasant floral aromas. Flat palate with very few bubbles. Round and sweet. Very simple. 81

Anthony Rose: Very pale in color, almost water white; rather bland and shy nose, little emerging from the glass, initial tart malic bite on the tongue softened by a touch of sweetness for a sweetand- sour effect. 85

Tom Stevenson: Oaky, with an esterification that suggests it needed more time on yeast. The fruit is strangely exotic. Good acids. 80
