Jesús Barquín: Yellow, slightly cloudy. Interesting, if lacking distinction in such great context. Somewhat weak on the palate, too, but it is not short of interest. 89
Andrew Jefford: Pale gold. Lots of grainy warmth here, with some almondy tang. Correct rather than a virtuoso performance. Concentrated and sound, with the authentic Jerez dry volume and length to it. Some breadiness on the finish. Enjoyable, long, modestly layered, delivering on the en rama promise in terms of some width of flavor. 87
Peter Liem: While this is ample in fragrance, with a pleasantly mature character, it’s a little simple and loose-knit, lacking focus and definition. It’s enjoyable to drink, though. 83
