Jesús Barquín: Deep pale yellow. Slightly out of class, lacking real Manzanilla character, with notes of candied pumpkin that recur on the palate. 80
Andrew Jefford: Pale gold with green glints. Quite sweet in style but attractive nonetheless: bread, cream, honey. Softly stated. Lots of soft breadiness, and as the nose suggested this has honeyed allusions (though of course there’s no sugar here at all). Very good Manzanilla in a slightly richer and less overtly marine style than its peers. 89
Peter Liem: This feels forward and a little loose-knit, showing an inviting breadth and depth of flavor without developing that further. It’s pleasant to drink, and reflective of its Sanlúcar origins. 87
