Jesús Barquín: Deep golden yellow; cloudy. Two bottles were opened, and both presented problems. Neither was sufficiently clean on nose and palate. 75

Andrew Jefford: Full gold, though light-hued. Surely simply Manzanilla shouldn’t really look like this? Tangy and oxidative, so let’s try another bottle. Bottle 2: If anything, a little more tired than the first bottle. Flat and rather hollow on the palate. I’d be feeling disappointed if I had bought this. 79

Peter Liem: Deep in color, this is rather simple and straightforward, contrasting a youthful, almost fruity depth of flavor with nutty aromas of oxidation. It persists with dark, fragrant aromas, really needing food to show its best. 78
