Michael Schuster: Deep, youthful purple; rich, yet crisply ripe fruit to smell; a quite densely packed middleweight, with a very fine tannin for NSG and an unobtrusive yet nicely delineating acidity; rich, ripe, fleshy flavor, long in the mouth, complex, packed with sweet black-cherry fruit, an unobtrusive, subtle oak spice, and excellent fruit and aroma length. A lovely NSG, very classy indeed. So succulent as to be a joy already, but will harmonize and become glossy in texture. Tasted now suggests 15 to 20 years of glorious life. 2012–25. .
