Andrew Jefford: Clear red. Dry unfleshy scents, with some oak palpable on the nose. On the palate, the wine has a little depth and sweetness, though the finish turns slowly back towards the green, the fresh, and the sharp. That brief moment of central palate sweetness is enjoyable, though. Now to 2020. 85
Stephen Brook: Rich, oaky, cherry nose. Plump and rounded, this is clearly the result of a selection not possible at its sister La Croix de Gay. It’s not very nuanced, but offers a good mouthful of dark fruit and a fairly long, spicy finish. 89
