Andrew Jefford: Clear, deep black-red. Warm and fresh to smell, still with some evident oak, and yet there is no particular sense on the nose of the vintage difficulties. Thin, slender, and acidic, with rather externalized oak on the palate. Not a very lovely wine. Now to 2019. 82
Stephen Brook: Light, delicate, redcurrant nose. Lean, slight, quite pretty but lacks depth and complexity, though there are some light tannins on the finish. Balanced but modest. 86
