Vibrant, ripe blueberry-fruit aroma. Jumps on the palate. It’s fresh, with a delicious focus of dark berry fruit and white-pepper spice. The texture is relatively light, with a good snap and a cherry-kernel bite that gives the finish energy. Notes of anise. (Les Retraits is much sweeter, and this year I prefer the old vines that are in Brochon).2022–27.
