BUY THE WINE

Michael Schuster: Laville Haut-Brion Mid-gold; on the nose, both fresh and fully mature at once, with the musk-tinged, honeyed waxiness of bottle-aged Semillon; a lovely, mature bouquet. Fresh, elegant, medium-full wine; ripe, yet bone dry; long, firm, spicy, still with an excellent finish. Lovely wine, fully mature, but with years to go. Now to 2015+. 18
