Stephen Brook:Very deep red. The nose is oaky and fragrant, with blackberry and raspberry aromas; it has freshness and elegance, with a touch of mint. The attack is fine and lean, spicy and tangy, with very good acidity. Although quite pungent, it seems to have less flesh than when previously tasted. It is undoubtedly concentrated and the tannins rather dominate the mid-palate, so it may be going through an awkward phase, since this bottle seems leaner and less robust than when tasted, frequently, on previous occasions. Good length.
