Stephen Brook:Deep to very deep red, slightly evolved. Muted nose, quite oaky and a touch leathery, closed, but with a classic cedary tone, as well as some Indian spice. Sleek and elegant, the palate has the Pichon refinement, but the tannins are still quite pronounced for a 20-year-old wine. The acidity, however, redeems it and gives it freshness and persistence
