Stephen Brook:Deep red, clearly evolved, with brick tones. The nose is reticent, mushroomy, and cedary, with some sweetness, but it is far from lifted. The attack is fine, the palate sweet, lively, and quite intense, thanks to good acidity, and though the development in the mouth is linear, the wine still shows some energy and flesh. Pretty rather than profound or bold, and certainly ready to drink. Fine length.
