Stephen Brook: Fairly deep red, with some browning. Sweet, leafy, intense nose, but distinctly corked. Quite rich and the density comes through, but the cork taint distorts the palate. Quite tarry, impressive concentration, and modest acidity, but a bit foursquare and dry. A clean bottle would probably be impressive.
