Stephen Brook: Deep red, though quite light on the rim. The nose is more closed than the 2001 but there are some savory tones. The palate is quite rich and ripe, and it has more solidity than 2001. Denser and more concentrated, too, but it has fine acidity and zest, so the finish is fresh. Good length. 17
