BUY THE WINE

Stephen Brook: Deep red, with little evolution. The nose is complex, ripe, and spicy, with whiffs of tobacco and fresh meat, and a slight savory tone. On the palate, medium-bodied but intense, with fine acidity. Although very concentrated, it is poised and stylish. Fresh and direct, with similar grip to 2000 but more flesh. Robust finish but still shy, yet should develop well. Very good length. 17.5
