Serena Sutcliffe: A generous 40hl/ha. Vintage took place September 24–October6. 12% ABV. I was amazed at how fresh this still was on the nose. It remains a fine 1970, though there is considerable bottle variation due to bottling practices at the time. It is pretty solid,with that Cheval sweet finish. It is time to find any remaining bottles in your cellar.
