Serena Sutcliffe: Vintage September 22–October 5. 13.2% ABV. 53% Cabernet Franc, 47% Merlot. This was just so vivid and so intensely vanilla. So much glycerol (a feat this year), succulence, and yet freshness, which is one of the joys of this initially underestimated vintage.
