Andrew Jefford:Relatively deep rose-amber, clear and bright. Emphatic casky notes: ethereal toffee here, lifted and sustained. The scent of fine aging—little fruit remains, though the overall effect is buoyant; there is no thinning and decline. Generous, long, tangy, with some of the aromatic toffee making its reappearance here. Sweet yet also a touch bitter on the finish. Concentrated and deep, yet without the style, polish, and aromatic finesse of the best. NS as only one taster
