Michel Bettane:Excellent color, cedary classical nose, excellent body, and firmness of texture, dry but not aggressive tannins, excellent and severe selection, lots of potential. 17

Thierry Desseauve:Good color, smooth and refined, very elegant tannin, gentle personality; a slight lack of energy to be considered one of the best. 16

Michael Schuster: Dense mineral and ripe blackberry fruit; well-balanced middleweight, with a firm tannin and brisk acidity; elegant, close-knit, gravelly St Julien; a nice sweet core fruit and good aromatic length. Quite classy, but its sinews suggest a fairly long-term wine. 2017–30+. 16
