BUY THE WINE

Michel Bettane: Rich oaky nose, noble-rot undertones (quince, apricot); not the perfect balance, but carefully made and able to age. 16.5

Thierry Desseauve: Quince and honey; large format, classy too, but a bit too linear in the end. 16

Michael Schuster: Mid-gold; dense and honeyed to smell; rich, well-balanced wine; long and sweet, complex, elegant and racy; a fine, complete de Fargues, if not in its very top league. Very good. Now–2025. 17
