Alex Hunt: There is really good fruit character here, but so heavily extracted! It’s a real pity. There’s freshness, verve, and minerality to the flavor, yet the tannin weighs the whole palate down. A bit less effort in the winery would have made a winner here. 86

Andrew Jefford: Deep, dark black-purple. Fresh and aerial: a welcome change of tone among the generally rather rich and florid Moulin-à-Vents. Pure, light, elegant, and graceful, with the quality of the fruit carrying the wine rather than elephantine élevage. Lovely cherry fruit here, with ample soft textures and stony, saline edges. Excellent wine. 91

Peter Liem: This is dark and oaky, with a dense concentration of fruit and quite a constricted, backward profile. It shows as much tannin from wood as from fruit, feeling a little aggressive on the finish. 86
