Andrew Jefford: Deep scarlet. Sweet, warm, spicy, and rounded: strawberry and cherry, but urbane and with great charm. Vivid, lively, ripe, and generous in the red-fruit style the aromas sketched out; ample tannins provide firm support. Serious wine but just a little sweet in style. 88
