Alex Hunt: 83

Andrew Jefford: Mid-depth of translucent purple-red. Cool, soft-contoured aromas without a lot of clear fruit definition. Rather secondary here, as if it has one vintage’s extra age: the primary fruit had perhaps faded a little more quickly than one would like. Nonetheless, there is plenty of depth and drive here, and vinous structure; a satisfying wine. 86

Peter Liem: This is dark and subtle in flavor, harnessing its ripeness well, and it’s enlivened on the palate by both fresh acidity and stony minerality. It persists on the finish, with a delicate nuance and long, quiet length, feeling quite soil-driven and expressive. 91
