Andrew Jefford: Dark red-purple: one of the deepest of the Fleurie cohort. Sweetly spicy black fruits on the nose: very attractive and alluring. Lightly floral, too—the cru as you hope to find it. Smooth and amply contoured on the palate: a swelling wave of truly lovely Gamay fruit, mouth-filling and satisfying. It’s not the most “serious” or extractive wine in the cru cohort, but few have realized the fruit potential of the vintage with more charm and amplitude. Splendid wine. 93

Peter Liem: The juicy, brambly flavors of blackberry and cherry are taut and lively, feeling fragrant and harmonious on the palate. Fresh tannins on the finish add to the impression of energy here. 88
