Michel Bettane: Good color; ripe nose not so complex but fine enough; good body, large texture for a Pessac-Léognan, alcohol in evidence. Lots of unaggressive tannins, but I miss the ultimate purity and finesse of the best 15.5
Thierry Desseauve: Dark color. A lot of alcohol; blackcurrant notes; powerful but not very fine 14.5
Michael Schuster: Ripe red-fruit nose and red-fruitdominated flavor, too; some richness to taste, but still with a youthfully edgy acidity and firmish tannin. Fruit length there, though. 2015–19+ 14 /14.5
