Jasper Morris: Glowing red though no longer full brightness. Jacques talks of the “vaporization of molecules.” The nose is rich with something of the explosive character of Musigny but not quite there. Just lacking a little freshness, and with a dry patch through the middle and toward the back. Some chocolate notes. Not quite what I expect from 2002.
