Richard Mayson: Very deep, youthful color, purple rim; fine, rich opulent aromas. Very full and charming, broad, ripe tannins evident beneath the fruit. Overall, powerful and opulent, with solid structure and full grip, the puppy fat still evident on the finish. Lovely to drink now but better still in five years’ time. 18.5
