Stephen Brook: Very deep red. Pleasant cherry fruit on the nose, and some lift; has a dash of oak. Medium-bodied, supple, sweet but not confected fruit, but rather hard tannins kick in on the mid-palate. Not an extracted style, mercifully, so delivers its modest virtues well. Moderate acidity enlivens the finish, and gives medium length. 15

Stephen Browett: Medium color, brown sugar nose. Very 2003 on the palate with over-ripe notes and low acidity. Loose-knit and a bit simple. Will need to be consumed soon. Other tasters gave it better scores than I did. 13

Michael Schuster: Dark red; lightly minerally nose with ripe Cabernet fruit; brisk, nicely balanced middleweight, with a lively acidity and not overly astringent tannin; light, red-fruit flavor, attractively fruity, moderately complex and with medium length. Not much Margaux finesse though! From 2010. 14.5
