Stephen Brook: Very deep red. Sweet, fresh, and ripe on the nose, with cherry and blackcurrant aromas. Medium-bodied but sleek, reasonably concentrated, with good underlying tannins. Has some zest and perkiness to make up for the lack of depth. Well-balanced and enjoyable but probably not for long aging. 15.5

Michael Schuster: Dark red; dumb, slightly woody nose; fluid medium weight to taste with a light, dry tannin; pleasant, but not much to this, a little hollow, medium length. Drink soonish. 13.5
